Splitting the signal to more than one TV? An Amplifier will boost signal strength for clear, consistent picture quality and reception. The amplifier boosts the signal so it can be split to several TVs or digital converter boxes. Designed for both home and professional use, the distribution amplifier can also be used when 50 feet or more of coaxial cable is used between the antenna and the TV or converter box. Splitting the signal to multiple TVs or converter boxes will result in a certain amount of signal loss. Distribution amplifiers counter this loss by boosting the available signal from the coaxial cable coming from the TV antenna. A Distribution Amplifier is commonly used in homes and businesses where the TV antenna needs to distribute signals to as many as eight TVs or more without impacting the signal quality.
